The Ghost of You Lingers OST
Music is integral to The Ghost of You Lingers. Gibson plays guitar and falls for Annabelle while playing music for her, despite their very different musical tastes. Follow their journey with these playlists!
Gibson
A punk guitarist who desperately wants to feel like a part of the band Call Me Kate Kane instead of a substitute, Gibson's sound is screamy, loud, and brash. She reveres female musical legends like Joan Jett, Debbie Harry, Patti Smith, Stevie Nicks, and Pat Benatar. She came of age after the riot grrl era but was deeply influenced by the sound of bands like Bikini Kill, Sleater-Kinney, and Bratmobile.
Annabelle
As a 200-year-old ghost, Annabelle has been around for many decades of musical styles. Her early years were spent wandering Mackinac Island, scaring people and drifting among the living inhabitants of the island, who couldn't see or hear her. When she settled in Abbadon Cottage, her tastes settled in about the 1950s and 60s with pop groups like The Monkees. She loves girl groups like The Ronettes, The Shirelles, and The Supremes. Both Gibson and Annabelle share their love and appreciation for versatile and talented female musicians like Nancy Sinatra, Nina Simone, and Carole King.
